I have seen the same thing on a few occasions. I normally start and stop
the daemons on the server which has the PEND or start and stop the daemons
on the master. This has fixed the problem every time.

Hi,

We have a SAN backup system running NetBackup 4.5

1 backup server, and 5 SAN media server (all Window 2000)

At the moment we have a L180 with one tape drive (LTO )

A few days ago the device monitor was showing 'PEND-TLD' for each host
under
the tape drive control column, it should show TLD as the control

I have tried to up, down and reset the drive and it still goes to
'PEND-TLD'

Has anyone seen this before

Kind Regards,

Imran Khan
