just my 2 cents, why don't try to use notify script + snmptrap from
ucd/net-snmp to make something like that?
i just and idea, i hadn't done such thing, but didn't sound like a
crazy idea.
In fact, i will work on that type of solution now, using solaris
snmp_trapsed, it may be not as good as veritas solution, but maybe good enough
for small budget solutions.
If someone is interested on such stupid project, let me know :)
