I have a question for J Glacius about Tape drive speeds.
What does your configuration look like? Also are you using the IBM
Utltrium 2 drives?
Are they SCSI or fiber attached? What library etc.
The reason I ask is I to have the same thing going on. In fact I have been
fighting a intense
battle between three vendors around this issue. I would be curious to see
what happens in
with your on going inquiries.
Also I can share some of the things I have proved.
