All,

=20

I am having some difficulty importing a backup exec tape into NetBackup
4.5 FP3. When I perform the bephyinv everything looks fine the drive
reads the header, moves the tape into the BackupExec media pool. Now
when I try to import the tape via command line and gui I get the
following:

=20

8/1/2003 6:22:29 PM - begin Import operation

8/1/2003 6:22:29 PM - started process bptm (1328)

8/1/2003 6:22:29 PM - started process bptm (1328)

8/1/2003 6:22:29 PM - mounting FXC994

8/1/2003 6:24:34 PM - Error bptm(pid=3D1328) block read is not a =
NetBackup
media header, len =3D 32768, media id FXC994, drive index 0, data is
BackupExec-MTF1-format

=20

=20

What is strange is that the gui import results are: "18:24:34 INF -
Backup Exec catalog generation started successfully." I can see the
tape kick out of the drive and the job never errors out and somehow
deletes it-self.

Any clues?

My environment is a windows 2k Master/media running 4.5 FP3.
