Yes, except I'm probably one of the rare few with 4mm tape libraries left in my
config...and unfortunately this doesn't work with those libraries. It works
really well with my 8mm and TLD type libraries.
Does anyone have a solution for libraries other than TL8 and TLD?
Thanks

Tapes in slots:
vmquery -w -a | awk 'NR>3 && $9!="-" {print $1}'
Tapes in slots with robot & slot info:
echo "Rob\tSlot\tTape"
vmquery -w -a | awk 'NR>3 && $9!="-" {print $8 "\t" $9 "\t" $1}' | sort -n
(this output could be prettied up a bit more)
Robot slot count:
vmchange -res -robot_info -rn <robnum> -rt <robtype> -rh <robhost> | awk
'{print $5}'
Does this cover it?

Does anyone know how I can get the robot slot information of my media server
from my master's CLI?
We were using vmcheckxxx but Veritas has changed the output in FP4...so now I
can't make my script work.
Any suggestions would be greatly beneficial.
Thanks
J
