If your sgscan does not run to completion, it is usually a bad definition
with your devices. If you run "sgscan basic", you will see where sgscan is
stopping. Also, if you ps -ef | grep scsi, you will see the process hanging
out there. Once you know which device you are hanging on, you can delete it
from /dev/sg if it is wrong and reconfigure you device.
