[Veritas-bu] available_media, bpimmedia and compression...

Speaking of available_media, I have what is probably a stupid question about
it. Are the reports generated by available_media pre-compression and the
reports generated by bpimmedia -l post-compression?
I ask because I originally wrote a script that uses available_media to
calculate current capacity/usage of my robot and later used bpimmedia -l to
write another similar script (can check and track usage/changes by server).
The totals end up being off by a fairly large amount (+700GB). It's a 100
tape DLT4 StorageTek library, so 700GB doesn't sound like so much when you
divide by the number of tapes.
Is this because available_media lists what was actually backed up, and
bpimmedia lists what is actually on the tape?
