You still have to run the install from the 
/usr/openv/netbackup/dbext/install_debext.

try this and your shared object should be installed in 
/opt/openv/netbackup/bin. This is where your DBA's will reference it when they 
compile their oracle db's.

Sorry folks, the earlier email was sent out before I
was done editing it...
Anyway, I am running NetBackup 3.4 and am trying to
install the Oracle agent.
I am following the instructions in the install manual,
which are essentially mount the CDROM, change to the
/cdrom and run the install script. The licenses are
active and applied.
The install script returns right away, create the
dbext directory under /user/open/netbackup but the
agent is not installed. This I can tell because there
is no libobk file in the netbackup/bin directory which
I can link to oracle.
Anybody seen this before?
Any pointers?
