Hi,
You'd need to do a pkgrm of SUNWnetbp and SUNWmmgr. That would normally
ask you if you want to delete the appropriate directories. Then you'd
need to manually remove the NetBackup and Media Manager entries in
/etc/services. These are easy to spot and the start and end of the
sections are commented.
You'd also need to remove the shutdown/startup scripts in /etc/rc0.d and
/etc/rc2.d (probably K77netbackup and S77netbackup)
There are normally 3 entries added to the end of /etc/inetd.conf also
(bpcd, vopied and bpjava-msvc) which need removing, and it's possible
that you may have added entries to the system tape config file
(/kernel/drv/st.conf) which you might want to remove if the hardware is
going too.
I think that's everything ?
Regards, Fergus

Hi all,
I am running NetBackup 3.4 on Solaris 8.
I would like COMPLETELY UNINSTALL NetBackup 3.4 from
the machine.
Can anyone tell me how to do that.
Thank you,
Jatin
