I've had problems with the gui also we are on NB FP 4.5. During restores it
seems that if I go looking for a file down one path then look somewhere else
java seems to cache what was there before. It will tell me that the file is
not there but after I cycle my java session and look again, no problem it's
there. Have also done a preview to see what tapes are needed and got a list
of a dozen or so tapes. Shut my java session down, booted my pc then
brought everything back up and did the same restore and preview. Only got
one tape listed which was correct. This is on a windows pc. I am also
running jnbSA on a unix workstation running HP-UX 11.i, everything was good
until a few days ago. Now when I try to check any of my policies it locks
the gui up and I have to kill the session.
Bottom line is the gui is nice but doesn't seem that reliable lately.

same issue here...unfortunately Veritas doesn't seem to want to address the
many issues plagueing the Java GUI...

Okay, has anyone experienced this.

You are running jnbSA on your Solaris 8 box, NBU 4.5, FP3, FP4 and as
you are checking out the Activity Monitor...all of a sudden, it just
shifts to the left or right slightly. By the time I'm done refreshing
the "heck" out of this thing, I have an Veritas collage.

Oh and I am running this from Exceed too (v. 7)
