On a Solaris8 NetBackup DataCenter 4.5 MP4
master/media server, with SDLT320 tape drives, I have
the data tapes defined as "dlt cartridge tape 3" and
the cleaning tapes defined as "dlt cleaining tape 3".
I have NetBackup set to clean the drives after 100
hours of use. I have the correct labels on the
cleaning tapes, and if I let the L700 handle drive
cleaning, it uses the cleaning tapes without a
problem. Four of the drives have had over 100 hours of
use and NetBackup attempts to clean them. However, I
get the following in the syslog.
