Greetings --

I have an RMAN backup policy which occasionally gets interrupted
because NetBackup dismounts the tape after backing up each
"part" and another backup or an automatic drive cleaning process grabs
the only available drive.

I couldn't find any applicable bp.conf settings for either NetBackup
server or client.

Is there anything that can be put in the RMAN script which will
disable tape dismounts until all parts of the backup are completely
finished?

Or is there a NetBackup configuration possibility that I've
somehow missed?

This behavior is only a problem with my RMAN backups; all of the
other policy types tend to have only single or discreet "parts" so the
each "part" is independent of the other "parts".
