Interesting. We have been using DLT7000 drives and found that Fuji tapes
were much less reliable than Maxell tapes. In fact, we have stopped using
Fuji tapes altogether. We process about 7GB/week over 12 DLT7000 drives. I
would recommend looking at the media error log and trying to determine if it
is a specific drive that is getting a majority of the errors. If you are
getting stuck tapes, this almost always leads back to the drive, or in some
cases the library.

I've been running Seagate Drives and Fuji media for almost 2 years
and haven't seen any problems. Of course we're low volume (.5TB/week),
but I have had far fewer problems with Fuji than we did with Maxell
(lots of tapes frozen due to write errors). Maybe you got a bad batch?
