Hello all:
=20
Am in the process of documenting and testing a restore procedure for one
of my customers SQL server backups. They are currently running NBU 4.5
DC (MP3) on WIN2K (SP3) and are backing up a SQL 2000 DB server. The
backups are running just fine. I built a test SQL 2K server to restore
to and have configured it identically as the production SQL server.
=20
I am able to initiate a restore on the test server of files backed up
from the production server using the NBU SQL client. The client
initiates the restore and the job shows up in the view window of the NBU
SQL client with the status "In Progress" and never seems to complete.
=20
I have created a No.Restrictions file in NBUHOME/db/altnames on the NBU
Master and have stopped and restarted NBU services on the Master.
=20
I was wondering if anyone on the list has run into this issue or has
suggestions on how to troubleshoot.
=20
Thanks in advance,
=20
Daryl Katauskas
