I have an idea...
=20
Why doesn't everyone who is having this issue open a support call with
VERITAS? If this many of us are experiencing this (myself included), it
would help if VERITAS was aware of that....
=20
Just a thought!

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Error 52

I have been getting a lot of errors 52s lately I know it has been
touched upon before and so I have looked in all the normal cases A
question I have is :-
=20
my mount timeout is set to 2 hours which I changed lately as before it
was set to one hour.=20
If all drives are full and there is a schedule waiting is it this mount
timeout which is used as I thought that was a time out just to mount the
media?
=20
running netback 3.2ga on Solaris 8 with an L1000 jukebox
=20
I see this alot in bptm log=20
=20
00:31:38 [347] <4> hosts_equal: gethostbyname failed for tpf_pbs1:
HOST_NOT_FOUN

tpf_pbs1 is the host of the backup server, but dont think this has
anything to do with the errors i get.
=20
This snippit seems interesting :-
