If I recall correctly, there is no way to backup a Lotus Notes db in
online mode using anything other than its internal replication. Meaning
no backup software agent can do it. The only way to get a complete and
error free backup is to replicate to a master Notes db, shutdown the
master, and back it up.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm using NetBackup4.5 to backup Lotus Notes 5.0.4 on NT4.0. Got error
in bpbkar.log as following, and some file can not be backup:

06:54:01.548 PM: [228.229] <228> nbex_DebugLog: ERR - NBLNtoFINDDATA()
NSFDbOpenExtended('e:\lotus\domino\Data\mail\Powertrain\ptp1714.nsf')
Failed: 0x20D:This database is currently being used by someone else. In
order to share a Notes database, all users must use a Domino Server
instead of a File Server.
06:54:01.678 PM: [228.229] <228> nbex_DebugLog: ERR - NBLNtoFINDDATA()
NSFDbOpenExtended('e:\lotus\domino\Data\mail\Powertrain\ptp1744.nsf')
Failed: 0x20D:This database is currently being used by someone else. In
order to share a Notes database, all users must use a Domino Server
instead of a File Server.

Anyone can help me? Thanks in advance.

Thanks and best regards.
