Folks,

We have been given access to EMC disks on our NetBackup Server through HBA

Here's the info:

AVAILABLE DISK SELECTIONS:
       0. c0t0d0 <SUN9.0G cyl 4924 alt 2 hd 27 sec 133>
          /pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/sd@0,0
       1. c0t8d0 <SUN9.0G cyl 4924 alt 2 hd 27 sec 133>

       2. c6t16d4 <EMC-SYMMETRIX-5566 cyl 36826 alt 2 hd 120 sec 64>
          /pci@1f,2000/lpfc@1/sd@10,4
       3. c6t16d5 <EMC-SYMMETRIX-5566 cyl 36826 alt 2 hd 120 sec 64>
          /pci@1f,2000/lpfc@1/sd@10,5
       4. c6t16d6 <EMC-SYMMETRIX-5566 cyl 36826 alt 2 hd 120 sec 64>

       5. c6t16d7 <EMC-SYMMETRIX-5566 cyl 36826 alt 2 hd 120 sec 64>
          /pci@1f,2000/lpfc@1/sd@10,7

At this time, we are using tape robots exclusively...

I didn't receive any info on using disk in the NBU training class

:0(

Can anyone point me in the right direction to resources concerning EMC, NBA
and SAN?

Thanks!
