James,
=20
Yes, jnbSA is very slow, especially from home. We recently upgraded
to NetBackup DataCenter 4.5 on Solaris 8. We are getting good results
with the bpadm, menu-based, interface, when working at home over a 56Kb
connection.

Howdy,

=20

We just got Veritas NetBackup DataCenter 4.5.

=20

I was wondering does anyone use the jbpSA gui

to restore? Is it really this slow?

=20

Mine's a dog.... Everytime you want to move to

the directory structure it starts loading data.

I spent about 20 minutes just trying to browse

a little.

=20

Running the bprestore from the command line

took a few seconds.

=20

Is there a way to improve the gui performance?

=20

Thanks....James
