If you are using this in a SSO environment, you could have a drive mapping
problem across the Media servers.  If this is the case, you will have
database corruption also.  This realy shows it's head with 84 errors and
drives being down'd.  Does not sound like the problem you are having tho.

This could also be an issue with the media headers.  Make sure your media
overwrites are set appropriately within the vm.conf file.

I spoke to a colleague who suggested you may need to enter some LTO tape
driver information in the sf.conf file under the /kernel/driver ... path. As
the default drivers may be causing an issue

Hello All:

We have dozens of NB DC 3.4 environments and only see this
problem in one. From time to time (once or twice a week), all the
tapes in our library become frozen. We then have to unfreeze and
move back to scratch. We do not see any drive problems at the
time and we use different tapes sets but we continue to see the
problem.

Any ideas?

(Netbackup DataCenter 3.4 on Solaris 8 with an L700; 20 LTO
drives connected via 4 Crossroads Bridges)
