The 1st thing I do is check Activity Monitor, then I run a status report
print it and then file it in a notebook. I also check the drives to make
sure they are not in a down state. Every Monday I go through the event logs
and save them to another location. I also try to run a media summary report
checking for suspended and Frozen tapes. I'm sure, I am leaving something
out but hopefully this is a start.
