Hi Kate & Rockey,

I would like to say the catalogs are not inside the source/target volume and
we have a lot of space for journaling. Let me elaborate further about the
scenario for any clues.
Both W2K server are clustered with VCS 2.0 and Server1 running as Netbackup
server, server2 is the client and running as VSR master server. Initiately
we plan to put VSR into cluster but since running VSR will crash server2, we
decided better not to compromise our requirements. Now making the VSR
working is top on my head.
Any other suggestion are wellcome.
cheers...Robert

You need more outbound journals...

Per my husband (VERITAS consultant extraordinaire), this info is on the
support site and also he says, the server isn't really hung, it's just that
the logs are filling up and it's trying to flush files faster than it can
handle it...

HTH,

Make sure you catalogs are not on the same disk (NT) or volume (W2K) as the
source or target data. If so you WILL get locking

We are tyring to use VSR storage replicator 2.1 SP2 for W2K SP3 to replicate
D: drive 160GB to another W2K SP3 server. Anybody encounter server hang
while VSR is running. It will hang at least one everyday, so we disable VSR
services till now the server never hang.
Thanks.
Robert
