Hello,

  We have the following setup:

NetBackup Datacenter 3.4.1
Sun E450 running Solaris 7
L1800 DLT silo

  We have purchased the following:

Sun 480R, Solaris 8 to be installed
L100 LTO silo

What we want to do is to move the master from the old E450 to the new 480R
where the L100 will be attached. However we want to keep the L1800
attached to the E450 and retask it as just a media manager. The 480R will
inherit the E450's name, and the E450 will be named something else.

Has anyone done this before? Any gotcha's to watch out for?

I presume I will install NetBackup on the 480R, restore the index backup
from the E450, then configure the new L100 silo. Then install the media
manager software on the E450 (we're going to upgrade it to Solaris 8
first), and configure the L1800 silo.
