I agree. I might add (IMHO) that even if Veritas claims to be able to do 
this, it's risky business. And as Andrew pointed out expensive.

I've spoken to more than one Veritas tech about doing this type of 
thing, and they say that they wouldn't even attempt it. Consulting or no 
consulting.
