I have a tape that is full. It was recorded with a particular barcode
(NN1234) but I need the barcode to be something else for identification
reasons (AC1234). I swapped the external barcode and tried an import. NBU
tells me:
Import phase 1 started Thu Feb 06 2003 14:48:36
14:48:37 INF - Create DB information for media id AC1040.
14:48:37 INF - Initiation of bptm process to read media id AC1040 was
successful.
14:48:41 INF - Waiting for mount of media id AC1040 on server n2knbumas01.
14:49:38 Media mounted has media id of NN2957, but AC1040 was requested.
Must add NN2957 to Media Manager volume database and retry.
14:49:39 INF - Status = cannot perform specified media import operation.
I have had a great deal of trouble duplicating all of the images on tapes
(and several of you have tried to help me with those problems) so I would
rather let it spend the time importing than try and duplicate with a chance
some of the images would be missed. How can I do this?
