Hi

Has anybody actaully got NBU to drive the robotics of a Dell 132 Tape Lib
that uses native FC to work on AIX 5.1?

Setup
RS6000 - AIX 5.1 <-> 6228 HBA (firmware up-to-date) <-----> Dell/EMC DS-8G
(2Gbps Fibre switch) <---> Dell 132T Tape Lib with Native Fibre Channel

Problem
No working robotic AIX driver,  Dell doesn't seem to know or comprehend
much about AIX 5.1 device drivers, I would agree with Veritas its unlikely
to be their problem.

Not a Problem
Can directly use the tape drives by placing tapes without having to control
from AIX system.
Apparently all components are certified to work together.

It may be a Storage Network Connector - SNC  (SCSI/FC bridge) config'
issue?
