is this for injects?
if so, you can use the following to inject tapes without specifying what
slot the tape will be put in. the only thing is that the robot has to
have enough empty slots somewhere. if you inject the same number of tapes
that were ejected, this will never be a problem.
vmupdate -rn $robot_number -rh $robot_control_host -rt $robot_type -h
$voldb_host -empty_map -use_barcode_rules

I have Gotten rid of our ACS during our upgrade this week to 4.5. All is
working well.
What I need to know is how do I check for open slots on the L700?
I know there is a CLI to do it but can't remember what it is...
It is a NBU 4.5 system on Solaris 8.
