This'll do it, replace the robot address with your own, of course.  It'll
print the number of each empty slot.  You can do this with a vmquery script
if you wish, too, but it's not a one-liner.

echo "s s" | tldtest -r /dev/sg/c3t6l0 | awk '$1=="slot" && $NF=="no" {print
$2}'

Morning,

I have Gotten rid of our ACS during our upgrade this week to 4.5. All is
working well. 

What I need to know is how do I check for open slots on the L700?

I know there is a CLI to do it but can't remember what it is...

It is a NBU 4.5 system on Solaris 8.
