Daniel,
There are several ways to show the amount of data written to your tapes:
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/available_media and
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpmedialist -mlist -U. These, however,
will not show how much remains on the tapes and NetBackup doesn't have a
utility to show that as the amount of data a tape can hold will vary
depending on the type of data being written to tape and how well it can be
compressed, if you are using tape drive hardware compression.

I am adding a new tape drive(Sun L9 StoreEDGE) at a remote site. I have
finished configuring the drive and tested it fine, but I want to know the
capacity of the tapes. How can I do that from Netbackup (3.2 on Solaris 8)?
The total capacity and remaining space on them??

Thanks
Daniel
