Yup.

Gotta nice NDMP enabled Treefrog for testing.

But, until the budget (and a few thickheads) say otherwise, I'm stuck on
DLT.

Yeah 85%+ of 300 tape drives are AIT2/3, but other divisions or acquisitions
use DTF2's or LTO. Has anyone noticed that AIT3 drives are much more solid
than AIT2? I haven't had a single AIT3 drive hiccup in the past 5-6 months
since we got em. :) BTW if you use AIT3 be sure to upgrade your firmware, a
new upgrade just came out regarding tension on the cleaning tapes.

I thought you guys used AIT tapes at Yahoo...

At least that's what a certain tape library vendor likes to claim.

Hmmm... didn't mean to get anyone upset, how about I buy the beers and we
laugh about 4mm technology? :)

Well,

The question is about 9940B and you answer to,that's why I said that !

So I'm very wrong on the price, OK I hope so, I'm not a saler and I don't
care, I've just say what I know.

If tape don't load fast, you don't take care, OK I just want to do a
difference, once again I'm not a saler ,and once again I say what I know and
I'VE TESTED !

I've never say that LTO is a bad drive, I think that you aren't very
interesting about responses about this thread, except if this is like you
said.

Kudos to you and I'll won't be back.

Regards.

Fabrice
