An autoloader? Aren't you restricted to grabbing the tapes in sequence or
can you specify a tape number to load?
If you can specify, use a different volume pool for each day of the week,
create a policy with one schedule for each day of the week, each schedule
with its own tape pool. You can specify a catalog pool, too (default:
netbackup).
I'll send the volume manager pdf to you directly.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Veritas Netbackup Business Server 4.5
hi,
I have the Veritas Netbackup Business server installed on a SUn box running
solaris 2.6.
I am in the process of configuring the backup software. I have a tape
autoloader configured in Veritas with nine slots for nine tapes. How do I
assign one tape for each day of the week and one for catalog in the policy ?
I am unable to download the Media Manager System Administrator Guide. Is the
ftp server down ?
Thanks,
Varsha
