Actually, if you have 105847-09 or later then you do NOT need to edit your
st.conf to include DLT8000 support, since it is included with that rev of
the patch. If you do not have the current st driver patch, please install
it ;)

As for issues with import/restore on 8 vs 2.6, what sort of problems are
being noticed? Any logfile entries etc?
