Hi,

We're using NB 3.4 and we're asked by one of our client to be able to =
reread our backups using standard Backup tools (cpio or tar for unix, =
NTBackup for windows). This is not possible on NB 3.4 so we have to =
restore on an alternate server and then redo the backup using the =
standard tools. Someone told me that you were able to reread (or =
restore) backups made with NBU 4.5 without NetBackup. Is it true ? Is it =
still true if we're multiplexing ??????

I'm kind of skeptical but what is the truth?

Greetings,

Jerome=20
