Thanks for the responces for the CLI for "show contents of robot" question.
vmcheckxxx is the goods.

Can any one point me to a script that can report
the number of image copies and tape ids of the copy 2s and map them back to
the backup date.

ie. I want to check that all my critical servers have a good duplicate for
each Full backup and know exactly what physical tape to keep track of.

If not I have been planning one in perl but, though I would ask.

output something like this

logbox1m6
BKUPDATE Sched IMAGE Copy No. Frag No. Tape
ID
10/01/02 Full logbox1m6_image_blah.blah copy 2 frag 1 300001
                                                    copy 2 frag
2 400023
10/07/02 Full logbox1m6_image_blah.blah copy 2 frag 1 300002
                                                    copy 2 frag
2 400024

I would look at

vmcheckxxx -rt <robot type> -rn <robot number> -list

Hope This Helps
