Hi,
we have NetBackup 3.4 server running under Solaris 7 (with the latest
patches applied) and we are trying to backup a RedHat 7.3 client (with the
latest netbackup client files). The client has a couple of very large files
(each file being > 4Gb). The backups always fail with a status 1 error when
attempting to backup these files, with the following log message:
10/11/2002 03:26:36 server.somewhere.com client.somewhere.com from
client client.somewhere.com: ERR - Cannot lstat
/data/perforce/db.have. Errno = 75: Value too large for
defined data type
10/11/2002 04:12:59 server.somewhere.com client.somewhere.com backup of
client client.somewhere.com exited with status 1 (the
requested operation was partially successful)
the file in question looks like this on the Linux box:
[root@client perforce]$ ls -lrt db.have
-rw-r--r-- 1 perforce perforce 4132528128 Oct 11 13:47 db.have
Hopefully someone has come across this issue before?
thanks,
- Mark
