Thanx, but I can get this from the documentation. What I'm looking for is
info for status codes that are not listed.
0x100
0x020
etc, etc

Subject: RE: [Veritas-bu] bpmedialist - COMPLETE list of hex
status codes
Jim,
Status codes are as follows:
0x200 Multiplexing is True
0x080 Imported is True
0x040 Multiple Retention levels is True
0x008 The status is Full
0x004 (un-reported state)
0x002 The status is Suspended
0x001 The status is Frozen
0x000 The status is Active
Note that the low order and upper order bits are combined, so 0x200 would
actually
be a tape that is Multiplexed and Active.
Regards,
max

Subject: [Veritas-bu] bpmedialist - COMPLETE list of hex status codes
Does anyone know where I can find a complete list of hex codes for the
bpmedialist status field?
The example in the Documentation only provides a partial list, but I'm
getting status codes like 0x28 and 0x100
0x8 is full but what would 0x20 be?
0x200 is Multiplexed but what is 0x100 ?
I've searched the site and found only responses which included a
cut-and-paste of the documentation - not very helpful.
TIA,
Jim
