Running the available_media script yields status FULL for my tapes with 
status code 0x28 and ACTIVE for my tapes with status code 0x100
The script code looks like it just follows what's in the documentation, so 
that's no help either.
I guess Veritas doesn't want anyone to know what all the codes are.
