[Veritas-bu] Disaster recovery question

If you use FORCE_RESTORE_MEDIA_SERVER you don't have to use the bpimage
-newserver -oldserver
They are both ways to do restore with alternate media server. pick one or the
other. see Server Independent Restores section of manual for more info.

Hi,
I am about to participate in a DR test very shortly. The DR site is going
to provide a single master/media server with a standalone 9840 drive. The
currently configuration consists of a master/media server and two
additional media servers and a 9840 robotic library.
Here is a summary of my plan:-
1. Install the netbackup master / media software on the DR server.
2. Add the following to the bp.conf file on the master/media server.
FORCE_RESTORE_MEDIA_SERVER oldmediaserver1
drmediaserver
FORCE_RESTORE_MEDIA_SERVER oldmediaserver2
drmediaserver
3.Remove all storage units except the master server.
4. Configure storage unit and change robot to NONE and density to 1/2 inch
CART.
5. Configure standalone drive.
6. Run the following:-
bpimage -newserver drserver -oldserver oldmediaserver1
bpimage -newserver drserver -oldserver oldmediaserver2.
Is there anything I am missing ? I am particuarly interested in the robot
to standalone configuration ? The last trial I had problems restoring
backups spanning tapes to a standalone drive?
Any help will be appreciated.
Regards Jason
