jnbSA to XServerIt wont be the netbackup software that deals with the X
display it will be your OS
On unix i take it.
Make sure you can ping your host you want the gui ti display on, or at least
theres a route to it from the server.
Note your ip of your host then on the server you can do
DISPLAY=10.0.0.1:0.0 export DISPLAY
where 10.0.0.1 is your ip
Then check with echo $DISPLAY
Then you can test with something like /usr/openwin/bin/xclock <-solaris
I personally redirect my X display through ssh which is more processing but
I allow ssh through my firewalls.
You can also set x forwarding with certain terminal applications.
That's one way anyway hope this helps
.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] jnbSA to XServer
The v3.4 jnbSA interface supported a remote display back to a generic
desktop X-Server like eXceed.
Does the v4.5 support this, too? Any caveats?
I'm aware performance will stink compared to desktop-client-to-master-server
initiation...
