You can tell the system to overwrite this sort of data with the appropriate
"ALLOW_MEDIA_OVERWRITE" line required in your bp.conf file. The various
options are listed in the 3.4 UNIX Admin Guide on page 327, but you probably
need ALLOW_MEDIA_OVERWRITE = ANSI

Hello all!

I received the following log entry in my problem report on Netbackup 3.4
Datacenter:

10/01/2002 01:01:57 spica notes FREEZING media id S00651, it contains
ANSI-format data and cannot be used for backups

How do I fix this volume to accept backup? Has anyone ever experienced
this situation
before?

                         Thanks in advance!

                         Paul Thomas
