No, there's a batch file version, usually <scriptname>.bat (ie:
bpend_notify.bat) for Windows.
If you want to do perl or something, it has to have the same name but you
can "#!/bin/perl" or whatever on the first line to call the perl
interpreter.
Is this what you mean?
