Hello Guys

(note the "Hell" in my prior note is my poor typing and not a choice of
words. It should have been "Hello").

On to bigger and better things.

If you do not need otm and want to turn it off, One method is to click on
start then run. Type in regedit and then the Enter key.

Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
       SOFTWARE
       Veritas
       NetBackup
       CurrentVersion
       Config
       OTM_Current
Right click and select Modify
Change the Value Data: to NO
select OK
Select Registry on the toolbar then exit
Restart the netbackup service

Regards len

Len,
I also have a problem with OTM - Every time my Media Server is rebooted it
wants to do a CHKDSK. Events in the Event log shows that my J: Drive and E:
Drive are corrupt

OTM is responsible - trouble is I cannot stop it happening!!!

Hell Tommy

It looks like you have the client optional open file feature installed and
it is causing your problems.
If you do not require this feature you can turn it off. If you do require
it, you will have to look in the event logs and see if you can determine
which otm actiom is causing your problems. Then fix the problem.

Hi all,
We have NetBackup3.41 on a Win2K server as a NetBackup media server, the
system log shows an OTMAN5 error "Event ID 3: Driver or device is
incorrectly configured"; occasionally, the server went on blue screen. Does
anyone knows the cause and fix for this error?
Thanks
Tommy
