I realize this must be trivial, but why is this stuff so complicated?

I killed a backup job in the middle, and now I have 2 tapes in 2 of the 
robot drives.  What is the best way to eject them?  The Media Manager 
GUI does not even show which tapes are in the drives!  I only saw this 
with vmoprcmd!  All I want to do it eject the tape and put it back in 
its slot.  Please clue me in if I'm missing something simple.
