To all,
Environment Info:
Filer: F820 running Data Ontap 6.1r2
NBU DataCenter version: 3.4.1
1 - Unix Master
1 - Unix Media Server
1 - E3500 Juke with 7 drives, 5 attached to the Unix Media Server, 2
directly attached to the Filer.

I have two separate storage units; (1) NDMP-J01 with 2 drives available and
Storage unit type of NDMP and (2) NT-J01 with 5 drives available. I have
separate bar codes with bar code rules for NDMP backups vs. NT backups.

I am trying to isolate the two drives directly connected to the filer from
being used by my NT-J01 storage unit. There have been several occasions
where my NT backup tapes have been mounted in one of the drives attached to
the filer. Needless to say, this slows down the process significantly.

So, the question is, how do I keep non-NDMP tapes from being mounted on my
two NDMP drives.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Paul
