I believe you can just stop the request manager service (bprd). Media
change requests for the long job should be handled by volume manager (vmd)
and device manager (ltid).
Good luck,
Matt

Subject: [Veritas-bu] How to disable the start of new jobs
Hi,
i'm looking for a way to let the current jobs run to their end but no new
jobs should start.
I want to have a maintenace window, but we have jobs running all the time. I
want to do some maintance work right after one long job is done, but there
are some jobs that probably would start before the long one is finished. I
could just disable the classes until i'm done with maintenance but i look
for
a general "no new jobs" solution.
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance
Arne Kloecker
