[Veritas-bu] How to disable the start of new jobs
2002-08-21 14:14:23
Stopping the Request Daemon on the master will stop any new automatic backups
from starting (and will also stop any restores or user initiated backups from
being initiated).
UNIX: to stop: /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bprdreq -terminate
UNIX: to start: /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/initbprd
WINDOWS: start/stop Request Manager service

[Veritas-bu] How to disable the start of new jobs

Hi,
i'm looking for a way to let the current jobs run to their end but no new
jobs should start.
I want to have a maintenace window, but we have jobs running all the time. I
want to do some maintance work right after one long job is done, but there
are some jobs that probably would start before the long one is finished. I
could just disable the classes until i'm done with maintenance but i look for
a general "no new jobs" solution.
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance
