[Veritas-bu] New installation problem (bpadmbackup: not found)
2002-07-30 12:46:31
Hello,
Server HP9000-700
Veritas 3.4.1
Everything seemed fine, new installation, the wizard was able to see the
robot and drives, classes and clients were added.
Go to do a test backup and I get the error:
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpadmbackup: not found
Oops, the directory has 50 entries and I have another server which has 53
entries.
Missing from the new installation are bpadmbackup, bpadmlist and
bpadmrestore
These are the only files I can see that are not anywhere on this server (I
ftp'd them from another server, and the test backup is running)
I also notice that jnbSA is in openv/netbackup/java on one master, and in
openv/netbackup/bin on the other.
Also, the x window interface is in openv/netbackup/bin on one and in the
goodies directory on the other.
Suggestions as to why?? I thought I installed both exactly the same way
(3.4, then the 3.4.1 update adn P0858 patch and NDMP patch)
Thanks
