I would set it up so your DLT4K uses "dlt" as a density, while your DLT7K
uses "dlt2". Then you can setup a storage unit for your "dlt2" density.
Then setup the Volume Pool you want to use the DLT7K to use the "dlt2" tapes
and specify it in your classes as desired. The issue here is that you'd end
up needing to split your tapes out, some of them would be "dlt" while the
others would need to be "dlt2".

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Mix of DLT4000 DLT7000 in netbackup
Hi, I've got a SUN running Solaris 2.6 with Netbackup v.3.1.1 and a
Storagetek 9714 with 3 DLT4000 and 1 DLT7000. I would very much like to
dedicate the DLT7000 to a single volumepool both backup and restore.
It should be possibel if you look in the releaseguide, but i can't figure
out how to do it. Couldn't find anything in the newsgroups or faqs either.
Hope someone can help me.
Thank's
Gert Pedersen
