[Veritas-bu] ndmpd drive issue
2002-07-15 11:35:47
I have an R100 hooked up to 6 DLT7k drives. I just had a 480gb volume
fail at 400gb because it got the following error:
7/15/2002 7:47:38 AM sdcnbu01 sdcnar01 Warning 48473
Backup WRN - Cannot
backup filepath /vol/na03_switch/.snapshot/nightly.0,
NDMP_HALT_INTERNAL_ERROR occurred (path may not exist), skipping
Obviously the path exists since it backed up 400+gb already. This is a
snapmirror'd volume, hence the path to a snapshot. Once it got this
error the server placed the drive in a down state and started from
scratch again.
Anyone know why this happens? Connectivity between server and filer
have been verified with 'set_ndmp_attr -verify sdcnar01' and there are
no messages on the filer. I don't know what NBU log to look at for more
details (if anyone knows that as well it would be helpful).
Thanks.
