[Veritas-bu] install client to other location

I would think it would be possible but you'll have to modify your
/etc/inetd.conf entry to point to the new location.  I know using a sym-link
works just fine, ie link /usr/openv/ to /bigdisk/openv, too.

Hi All,


Is it possible to install netbackup client to other than the location
/usr/openv. I have a client that has very little space on the disk
containing /usr partition. - This is a production machine and cant be
repartitioned. - however i am able to connect an external disk pack, and can
mount extra disks.

Can i alter the default path for the client, say i mount /dev/dsk/c2t2d0s0
/veritas  ???? and install to /veritas/openv /java ../netbackup etc ??
