At least in Solaris /usr/openv ends up being just a link to /opt/openv, so 
if you have enough space there you may not have a problem. Otherwise I 
would just pre-create the directory (in a filesystem with space) and the 
symbolic links to this directory (/usr/openv and /opt/openv).
